ByFlow by Bywatts is a project workspace for the people who build commercial and utility solar. Plan phases and tasks with dependencies, see the critical path on a Gantt chart, and keep every project on a map. Costs, equipment and crews are planned next.
The app is invite-only and sits behind sign-in. The demo is a game with simulated data and needs no account. See what is live today.

What ByFlow does
Built for project managers who run commercial and utility solar builds. Each item below says plainly whether it exists today or is planned. Planned items have no release date.
Available now
Schedule and Gantt
Phases, tasks and finish-to-start dependencies. ByFlow rejects dependency loops, works out the critical path and draws it on a Gantt chart. Move or resize a bar with the mouse or the arrow keys; it snaps to working days. Save a baseline and compare it with the current plan.
Available now
Project map
Every project with a location is pinned on a map of the United States. Projects without a location are listed beside it, so nothing falls off the board.
Available now
People and activity
Three roles: administrator, project manager and viewer. Administrators manage who can do what. Every change is written to an activity log on the project.
Planned
Costs and earned value
Budget and actual cost for each project, with schedule and cost performance indexes (SPI and CPI). Not in the app yet.
Planned
Equipment and orders
A bill of materials built from IDM product data, with orders and deliveries tracked against the schedule. Not in the app yet.
Planned
Crews and field logs
Crews, daily logs and safety incidents tied to the tasks they belong to. Not in the app yet.
What is live today
ByFlow has two parts that share a name and a look. They are different things, so here is what each one is.
Invite-only
The app
The real team workspace, hosted on Cloudflare. It sits behind sign-in and is open only to people an administrator has added. There is no public sign-up and no published pricing.
Projects, schedule and Gantt, project map, people and roles.
Costs, equipment and crews are planned, not built.
A 3D strategy game that plays a solar build across all 50 states. It needs no account and keeps its saves in your own browser. It is a game, not a planning tool: do not use it for real engineering, safety or cost decisions.
Most numbers are simulated by the game.
Some weather, hazard and market feeds come from public sources while you play.
